WELCOME to the Catholic Deaf Community
ICDA is an organization of Catholic Deaf people and hearing people in the church,
working together to for spiritual development, service, and study.
All activities are accessible through ASL with Deaf Leaders,
and ASL and ASL-Spanish Interpreters.
We share our faith through many different educational programs:
faith formation, bible studies, retreats, and youth programs.
All in ASL.

FAITH ENRICHMENT
Our Catholic Deaf ICDA theme is,
"Keep Our Faith Strong."
Join us at for Faith Study group, a service project, or signed Mass
to develop a deeper relationship with God, Jesus Christ, and your Catholic Faith.
All ICDA events and Faith Study groups are signed in
ASL or ASL-Spanish.
ABOUT ICDA
We are Deaf Catholics.
We are Deaf Catholic families.
We are ASL Interpreters.
We are Deaf or
we advocate for the Deaf.
We see the needs around us,
and spend time sharing our faith through acts of mercy, small group study, retreats, Mass,
group service projects.
We worship in several locations.
We sign, we lipread, we talk.
We are Deaf,
we are Hard-of-Hearing,
we are hearing.
But we are ONE
through Christ Jesus.
SERVICE PROJECTS
"What good is it, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? . . . Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works." James 2:14, 18
Through our Catholic faith, we are committed to spreading our faith and love through social justice service projects in our communities.
HELP US TO SPREAD OUR
LOVE AND FAITH
To feed the hungry.
To give water to the thirsty.
To clothe the naked.
To shelter the homeless.
To visit the sick.
To visit the imprisoned, or ransom the captive.
To bury the dead.
This is our Catholic Corporal Works of Mercy.
Jesus said, "If you do this to the least of them, you do it for me."
